Turkkanlar Legal was founded by Sezen Türkkanlar, an immigration and mobility lawyer qualified in both Spain and Turkey. From Barcelona, she advises international professionals and businesses relocating to Spain — with clarity and confidence.
She knows the process from both sides of the desk. Admitted to the Istanbul Bar in 2015, she later moved her own life across borders: revalidating her law degree in Spain, completing a Master's at Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, and qualifying before the Barcelona Bar. The paperwork her clients face is paperwork she has done herself.
In January 2026 she founded Turkkanlar Legal as a modern legal practice: deep expertise in Spanish immigration law, technology-enabled processes, and human-centered service. She works in English, Spanish, and Turkish — and prepares the paperwork in the language Spain requires.
Her approach is strategic rather than reactive: she looks at the whole picture — residency, tax position, and the life you are building — before filing anything.
